Vale Professor Reg Coutts

Huawei Australia extends its sympathy to the family of Professor Reg Coutts, who sadly passed away over the weekend. Professor Coutts was a leading member of the Australian telecommunications industry, and Huawei was privileged to work with him over many years.

Huawei last worked with Professor Coutts just over a year ago on The Gigabit Gap discussion paper. The paper outlined the options ahead for NBN. As the then TelSoc President, Professor Reg Coutts spoke to Huawei’s Tony Brown about how he and TelSoc saw the way forward for the NBN.

We republish that interview in honour of a great leader of our industry. Vale Professor Reg Coutts.
