Huawei’s Jeremy Mitchell was a part of a panel to discuss the digital future for Queensland as part of The Queensland Futures Institute’s (QFI) 2021 Policy Leaders Breakfasts series. The series feature influential policymakers and shapers. The digital future panel shared their insight into the opportunities and challenges of a new digital world, for Queensland and Australia in general. Joining Jeremy on the panel was Karina Collins, Partner in Charge, KPMG Strategy, KPMG Australia Gaven Nicholls, General Manager, Queensland Government, Telstra Enterprise Andrew Spina, Acting Chief Customer and Digital Officer, Queensland Government Duncan Unwin, Principal Consultant, Business Aspect The Moderator was Professor Byron Keating, Capacity Building Professor of Marketing & Technolgy, QUT Business School, Queensland UNiversity of Technolgy QFI CEO Steve Greenwood said “the panel session enabled an in-depth look at our digital future, especially in a post covid world. We heard from experts in this area about the challenges and opportunities that are available for Queensland. It was great to have Huawei as part of this session given their global technology leadership in so many areas”.
