Inquiry into 5G in Australia led by the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Communications and the Arts has now been accepted and published by the Committee.

(Sydney, November 4th 2019) Huawei Australia is pleased to announce that our submission to the Inquiry into 5G in Australia led by the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Communications and the Arts has now been accepted and published by the Committee.

Huawei is one of over 400 industry and individuals to have had a submission accepted and published by the Committee which is being chaired by Dr David Gillespie, Federal MP for Lyne.

We are grateful that we have been able to share our insights as the world leading innovator and supplier of 5G technology. Huawei is currently suppling our 5G technology across the United Kingdom, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland and many more European and Asian countries with over 50 commercial 5G contracts already signed – most of them in western Europe.

We welcome the opportunity to share our global 5G experiences with the Committee and the Australian public and we applaud the Minister for Communications for requesting this important inquiry.

Please see our submission here.
